I forecast the color trend of Christian Lacroix fall 2010 collection based on the color and color theory which applied in 01-08 years.
During 01-08 years, Lacroix keeped going to use the achromatic scheme and Lacroix mainly used black to present his coutures. Therefore, I forecast that Lacroix will use the achromatic scheme and black color in the fall 2010's collection.

I forecast Lacroix will use monochromatic color scheme and use red and yellow to present the couture. During 01-08, red color must appear in Lacroix collection. The reason maybe Lacroix is influenced by the Spanish Culture because red is popular in Spainsh. So, I think that red still appear in the collection. And about yellow, in the recent years, Lacorix used yellow color to his couture continously, so, I guess that yellow is also a popular color which will appear in fall 2010 collection.

In the Lacroix's collection , we can find that the chroma is included brightness and dullness, and the value of the color is involved lightness and darkness. But , it is easy to know that what chroma and value dominate and the mood present in every year. In fall 2010, I forecast that the chroma will be brightness and the value of the color will be lightness. It's beacuse in 07, 08 A/W collection tended to be dullness and darkness and in 05,06 A/W collection prefered to brightness and lightness. So, in fall 2010 collection, I think Lacroix will present his collection mainly in brightness and lightness in order to give different mood and feeling year-by-year.
The color family which is below is a part of fall 2010 color scheme and color. One of is monochromatic color scheme and another is analogic color scheme. The chroma of color is dullness. In Lacroix's past collection, it showed that Lacroix used dull color to present his couture even mainly occupied by bright color in that year. So, I forecast that Lacroix keeped used dull color to the couture but it may be one or two couture(s).It can find that green color which used by Lacroix continously in recent years. Therefore, I think that green will be a color that Lacroix will use.
In Lacroix's past collection, it's easy to find that Lacroix used to mix and match the color and made the color looked like fancy. I have forecasted the color which included green, red, pink , blue, orange as well as violet will used in fall 2010 and brightness and lightness will be occupied in this A/W collection. Lacroix will change the value of color to enrich the color variety. Besides the achromatic color and monochromatic color scheme, Lacroix used analogic color scheme and complimentary color scheme, thus, I forecast that Lacroix still uses these color thoery because they can show various mood and also and have different combination throught these scheme. Lacroix used to violet to feature the feel of elegance and romance. So, Violet will also be a color that Lacroix to use in order to maintain the femininity image.
This is a complimentary color scheme.
This is a monochromatic color scheme.
This is a analogic color scheme.

In Lacroix's collection, it's obviously to find that Lacroix uses materials like sequins, glass beads, jewelleries, gems, mohair to decorate the couture in order to make his collection to be unique and flourish. This is his symbol , so , I forecast that he will successive use these materials to feature his coutures. And also, in every past years, Lacroix used embroidery and floral prints to present his coutures to be elegance and femininity. The sequins, embroiderirs and floral prints can make different color patterns and create more different color effect. Thus, I forecast that embroideries and floral prints will keep using and incorporating into the coutures.
